I haven't checked on the girl's stuff for a while now, especially on other websites than dA, and Eliatropess' journal downright shocked me. I found a lot of stuff I didn't know about. I think her art and ideas have grown into spite and salt at this point in time, because....

The Alys knock-off that started it all is back:


She has an Alternate Universe called Rebirth in which her character looks like this:

And, this was only a matter of time and I was waiting for it, her character is now an ambassador and close to Joris:


There is being inspired by a character you would like to have... and then there is downright copying a character you would like to have, with some minor tweaks.

I am at a point where, if you encourage her to keep on going down this path while knowing what is going on, I will block you. I won't continue to play nice with her buddies who are too afraid to give their friend some deserved criticism, not after all these months.

I have tried to do this peacefully, I have tried to support the girl before she decided to continue with being disrespectful, I even implored people to not do anything towards her, despite all she did. I didn't check on her stuff because I pulled my hands off it, blocked her everywhere and didn't even discuss her with people. I kept it quiet, but it kept growing and growing behind my back... All I knew about her was told to me, by friends and followers who care about what I do.

People notice without me needing to bring it up, people stand up for me and come to my defense because they are angry at what is being done. They aren't sheep (please don't call my friends and followers that), they aren't blind, they aren't being told or commanded what to do; they are acting on their own accord, and they have so far been very reasonable and peaceful with their behavior. Nobody gave her death or harm threats, nobody bullied or harassed her. Pointing out to her that what she is doing isn't the right way of things, is NOT bullying. She can say all that and hang up some sob stories to gain sympathy, but that's simply not what happened. Learn the difference, please.

Consider this... If people are quick to say 'oh, I thought this was wishingstarinajar's art/Alys the Eliatrope' to someone's else art/character on numerous and different occasions, this 'someone else' needs to reevaluate what and how they are drawing, especially if they don't see eye to eye with the artist they are taking heavy inspiration from.
It's no longer a compliment. It is an insult and satire, and saying 'this is my way to show my admiration and respect to the artist' is utter bullshit when you are blocked by that same artist, after they told you to stop heavily referencing their art and characters.

So there, my stamp of support to Eliatropess' journal.
