Wakfu season 3 will no longer be released this year. This was revealed in an interview with Anthony Roux during Ankama's attendance to the movie festival Non-Stop 2016 in Barcelona (Spain) last weekend. The new ETA is set for the second quarter of 2017 (a year from now).
In better news, the production of Wakfu season 3 is still on-going; three out of the twelve planned episodes are currently finished.
I myself am alright with the delay; I rather have Ankama take their time than bring forth another rushed product like the Wakfu OVA episodes.
In other news, the fourth issue of the Wakfu manga (
French!) initial release date of May 27th has also been postponed to a (so far) unknown date.
