Before people start pointing at me because 'WAT, WISH MADE AN ELI0DERP OC??!', I'll start with saying this:
I do not fully support the currently known Eliotrope lore, no matter how little it is. I think it is garbage, but I have certain hope for it with it getting touched upon in the upcoming third season of Wakfu. I don't know what will be done with the Eliotropes in Wakfu season 3, but I sure as hell hope it fixes their current retcon mess. Call me harsh or vindictive with saying all this, but that has been my stance on the Eliotropes ever since they were thrown into the games and wedged into the Krosmoz lore.
BUT, there is no denying that there are some interesting Eliotrope OCs out there. I am more interested in them than I am in the (so far) released lore. Some OCS (not all, unfortunately) bring a bit of light in what I think is a straight up confusing mess. Before one forgets, one of my best online friends has an Eliotrope OC I plain out adore, so I am not fully against Eliotropes.
I decided to make an Eliotrope OC to come at peace with the good qualities of the Eliotropes, but also to accept that they ARE a part of the Krosmoz. There is no ignoring them, they are a part of things. I don't fully surrender to them, I still got my negative opinions, but I will try and be less 'hiss hiss grr' towards Eliotropes in general.
The inspiration for Erzulie came from me trying to settle on a class in the Wakfu MMO when I was thinking of giving the game another shot for the billionth time. Shot missed, as per usual, because I don't enjoy the gameplay of the game, but the inspiration stuck. An idea began to form, a background started to fall in place for this Eliotrope I created to try out the class. She will be the key to introducing Eliotrope lore in future Wakfu fan fictions (aka Alys' story). I'll touch further on this in my next submission of Erzulie, where she will (hopefully) have a finalized design rather than some rough sketches.
So there you have it, it is official: I made an Eliotrope OC, or at least made some rough designs for her. Taadaaaah~
